Today I tried to complete a "simple" lawn irrigation repair for my brother.
I'm not a very "handy" person, but I was confident this was within the scope of my abilities.
I was wrong.
After three trips to the hardware store, and several hours, I completed the job.
The final product looked a bit like what you would expect if Rube Goldberg installed a sprinkler.
Irrigation repair has now been removed from my list of skills.
Whew.
